As the State Library of Victoria’s Russell Beedles Performing Arts Fellowship for 2022, Na Trí Céilithe examines manuscripts documenting Melbourne's annual Gaelic concerts in the early twentieth century. Rhys’ forthcoming short film will reinterpret the dances performed at these céilithe, refracted through the lens of colonial Australia more than a hundred years on.
